The Role

Do you want to play a pivotal role in shaping the sports culture of one of Australia's leading independent girls' schools?

PLC invites applicants for the full-time, permanent position of Director of Sport, commencing in Term

The Director of Sport will oversee the development and delivery of a comprehensive, high-quality sports program. Your responsibilities will encompass both curricular and co-curricular sports, including inter-House, inter-School, and community activities.

Most importantly, you will ensure that every girl at PLC has access to and is actively encouraged to participate in our vibrant sporting life.

Adding further excitement, is the launch of PLC's new Sports Aquatic and Fitness Centre in early 2025 which will bring new growth and opportunity for the College and for the successful incumbent.

About You

You are a qualified, experienced teacher of Physical Education and Health (to VCE level) with skills and talent in coaching a number of sports.

You have highly-developed leadership and management skills, including the successful recruitment, mentoring and performance management of staff, demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically and problem-solve, and the aptitude to build positive relationships with students, staff and the wider PLC community.

You are someone that our students and staff will look up to, ensuring that PLC programs are of the highest standard, and that a purposeful, cohesive approach to sport is shared across the College.
