    Are you a highly skilled Market Data Senior Analyst, with an ability to work closely with business stakeholders to manage market data demand? Do you have a keen interest in identifying and driving opportunities to improve the use of market data? Do you have a strong commercial mindset and ability to build relationships with vendors to deliver positive outcomes? This opportunity will enable you to work directly with stakeholders at all levels to execute on the Bank's strategic agenda and solve complex market data problems.

    Being part of the hard-working market data team, you will work cohesively in the strategic management, provision and management of market data. You will build relationships with vendors, identify new opportunities and look to optimise the use of market data. You will be curious, analytical and passionate about problem solving. Your motivation and drive are important qualities, alongside your understanding of market data or the financial markets space.

    Your background
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, computer science, compliance, finance or related discipline.
    • Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on market data products, exchanges and data
    • Strong knowledge of financial markets, data products and data sources, including familiarity with vendors.
    • Strong knowledge of contract and vendor management, with the ability to adhere to the Bank's associated policies and guidelines.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
    • A critical thinker, with a passion for problem solving and driving improvements associated to the use of market data.
    • A strong risk mindset with an ability to identify, articulate and manage risks in line with the Bank's risk tolerance.

      Financial Markets Group is responsible for implementing the Reserve Bank's operations in domestic and foreign exchange markets, monitoring and analysing developments in financial markets and co-ordinating the Reserve Bank's relationship with international institutions. Domestic Markets Department is responsible for the Reserve Bank's operations in the domestic money and bond markets. The Department also analyses developments in domestic financial markets, including the cost and availability of finance through financial intermediaries and capital markets, and provides regular advice to the Governors and the Board on these issues.
