Site Mechanical Supervisor

  • Location: DIDO 2/1 rotation

Our client, a prominent Power Engineering company, is expanding their construction team as they have a robust lineup of projects. Committed to shaping the future of energy with cutting-edge power generation solutions, they boast a skilled team of professionals driven by engineering excellence, sustainability, and impactful project delivery.

Position:

  • Reporting to the Site Manager
  • Provide support to the Construction Team overseeing Mechanical Installation
  • Liaise with Engineering and Mechanical contractors, as well as other site team members
  • Ensure efficient and safe installation of mechanical equipment

This is a full-time, permanent position based in QLD with FIFO travel, working ideally on a 2:1 site roster.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional approach when interacting with clients and customers
  • Adhere to company standards in quality, work health, safety, and environment
  • Ensure timely completion of installation works
  • Plan and coordinate works effectively to prevent delays
  • Review and adhere to safety guidelines
  • Communicate potential delays to the Project team
  • Support team on various tasks when required
  • Contribute to toolbox talks and pre-starts

About you:

  • Mechanical trades or pipe fitter background
  • Technical qualification with management training
  • Construction site experience
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality practices
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • International applicants must have working rights for Australia
