Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Concrete Remediation Specialist

Randstad Tasmania has a new opportunity for a Concrete Remediation Specialist to work with a respected client across mulitple remediation projects across Northern Tasmania. This role is an ASAP start with ongoing work.

This role is a Monday – Friday role with potential overtime and weekend work available.

Information about the role:

This role requires the ability to mulit-task and is suitable to someone looking for a position where there are varied daily duties with the opportunity to grow and learn in a fast paced environment. You will need to be flexible with availability.
Are you self motivated? This role requires the ability to work effectively both as a team player and unsupervised.

You will also possess a strong commitment to safety by ensuring all work is conducted according to site safety procedures and guidelines.

In this role you will complete a variety of duties, inclusive of;

High Pressure Hydro Demolition & Surface PreparationGunite, or similar, spraying Industrial blasting & paintingManual labouring tasksOperation of hand and power toolsGeneral construction and assisting tradesmen in day-to-day duties. To be considered for the role the following is required: Hydro blasting experience – HPWJ/UHWJ Operator & or Assistant with the below competencies
- MSMSS00017 Use high pressure water jetting equipment.
- MSMSS00018 Operate a high-pressure water jetting system.Gunite or Similar spraying experienceRemediation experienceWhite CardCurrent Drivers Licence and reliable transportPhysically strong and able to work around waterHighly motivated and strong work ethic in team dynamics Why Randstad?
