APS6 Senior Research Officer

Contract length: 12 + months
Daily rate: $602 per day + super
M-F 8.30am - 5pm
Federal Government role: only available for Australian Citizens
Key skills required for role
• Planning & conducting systematic reviews of research evidence
• Familiarity with evidence synthesis methods
• Prior research experience in disability, psychology, medicine, epidemiology, education, economics, social science, statistics or related fields
• Experience with statistical analysis
• Experience in meta-analysis
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage project plans.Design protocols for environmental scans, evidence snapshots, and systematic reviews.Conduct literature searches in accordance with PRISMA standards.Perform data extraction, quality appraisal, and synthesis.Interpret findings and support translation for stakeholders.Prepare and present research reports and recommendations.Provide methodological and subject matter expertise in relevant areas.Lead or support broader projects across the Branch.Federal Government role: only available for Australian Citizens
