Project Management ConsultantInitial Months of Contract with long term renewalsHourly / Daily Rate + Super / GSTSalary is negotiable to match your experience and skills We are looking for a talented and energetic Project Management Consultant who can operate at a Program level while also diving into the finer details of project management and implementing new methodologies. This role is crucial for establishing guidelines for project initiation and consistent delivery. The projects will span diverse areas including Machine learning algorithms, Power Platform solutions, UiPath RPA, IoT, Mobility, AI, PowerBI reporting, and autonomous operations, all aimed at reducing operational costs and improving operational safety. Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire project teams to deliver solutions involving machine learning, Power Platform, UiPath RPA, IoT, Mobility, AI PowerBI and autonomous operations.Oversee and manage a program of complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.Develop and enforce standardized processes and guidelines for project initiation and delivery.Engage with stakeholders across various business units to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Implement automation solutions and drive operational cost reduction.Conduct workshops and training sessions to promote best practices in project management.Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the project teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.Background in Heavy industry sectors such as mining, oil and gas, or energy is required.5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within digital technologies.Strong understanding of automation technologies and their application in industry.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.High level emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
