We are seeking a Project Electrical Engineer to lead projects with a focus on compliance. As industries evolve, adherence to stringent regulations and standards is crucial. We need a dedicated professional to ensure our projects meet all legal, safety, and industry-specific requirements. This role requires expertise in navigating complex compliance frameworks, reducing risk, enhancing project efficiency, and maintaining our strong market reputation. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving project success while upholding the highest standards of quality and regulatory adherence.

Starting the project planning phase with a strong emphasis on the front end ensures better outcomes by setting clear objectives, refining requirements, and involving stakeholders early. This lays a solid foundation for success throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves providing detailed project scopes with well-defined deliverables and fostering a collaborative team structure, working closely with internal and external teams within the fixed plant to execute plans in line with a 2-year planning cycle and framework.

About you:
A tertiary qualification in electrical engineering (recognized by Engineers Australia).Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and mining safety regulations.A current C Class Driver's Licence.Experience in testing and commissioning is preferred.Proactive, decisive, and analytical with strong problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.A collaborative team player who openly shares knowledge.Strong understanding of engineering standards and client specifications.Ability to effectively communicate at all organizational levels and in various formats.
