Randstad is looking for qualified all-rounder/carpenters for a local council in North Sydney to start immediately.

Our client, a local council based in North Sydney are currently looking for all-rounder/carpenters to start immediately. This role will provide support to the organisation by ensuring that Council's structures are maintained
This role is starting immediately, on a full time (38 hours a week) basis Monday- Friday.
This is a casual position at first for 3-4 months with potential to extend for those with a good work ethic and positive attitude.

The following is the range of duties (and may not be limited to):

Carrying construction and repair duties as required
Maintaining the Council buildings to a reasonable standard
Parks repair (outdoor furniture, pergolas, table and seat set)
Rectify any obvious maintenance and repair work
Maintain good working relationships with staff and occupants using Council owned buildings

To be successful you will have;
Trade Qualifications (Certificate 3 in Carpentry and Joiner OR Certificate 4 in Building and Construction (Building) or equivalent)
Experience in carpentry and building maintenance
Full Driver's License
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, full time hours
Pay rate: $40 - $45 per hour
Day will start at the Depot and may involve travel to sites within the LGA
