The Position:

• Full-time role
• Hands-on position for a highly organized Head Chef, working closely with your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for daily meals and events
• Responsible for maintaining catering standards, stock controls, OH&S compliance, and HACCP protocols, with a strong emphasis on minimizing waste
• Forecast food needs, manage orders, and oversee stock levels
• Ensure top-notch food safety and quality, especially regarding allergens and dietary needs
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of operational and financial aspects specific to the defense industry

The Person:

• Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a head chef in similar settings
• Skilled in people management, training, and staff development
• High proficiency in HACCP, allergen control, and food safety standards
• Strong team leader with excellent organizational skills, able to work independently, show initiative, and thrive under pressure
