Service Solutions Engineer

We are looking for a Service Solutions Engineer to enhance and expand a Global Market Service portfolio for ABB customers in the Electrification Business Area in Moorebank, Australia.

Reporting to the Service Solutions & Applications Manager, you will work closely with the Service & ABB Sales Team to boost service sales and enhance the portfolio process.

This is a position with global grade 14.Your responsibilities
  • Generate and drive conversion of service sales leads and explore new market opportunities.
  • Create service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area.
  • Consult and advise customers on the best service solutions following standard processes and safety guidelines.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and offer specialized support and solutions.
  • Develop, own, and promote ABB Service Portfolio offerings to increase customer awareness and drive growth.
  • Focus on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire Service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units.
  • Utilize ServIS to comprehend the existing installed base (IB) and develop sales opportunities for Service products and solutions.
Your background
  • Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Sales and marketing with the ability to learn ABB's wide range of products/systems.
  • Have solid knowledge of customer products, applications, and processes.
  • Show significant sales drive and energy to close profitable deals successfully.
  • Possess excellent customer relations skills with mature selling behavior and the ability to drive discussions and negotiations proactively.
  • Understand and utilize sales processes and tools, identify customer service needs, match them with ABB service offerings, and provide innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
