Are you passionate about shaping the future of transport networks in Queensland? I am assisting a local government organisation who is on the lookout for an experienced engineer to join their team and lead high-level traffic programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-level input and coordination of traffic management activities.Lead investigations and analysis of road infrastructure for improvements.Manage the enhancement of the City's Intelligent Transport Systems network.Develop and implement a Road Safety Audit Program.Initiate local area traffic improvement schemes and road safety audits.Foster relationships with Government agencies and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
Substantial expertise and experience as a traffic engineering professional.High level skills in providing authoritative advice on traffic engineering and road safety related matters. Demonstrated skills in initiating, scoping and directing traffic engineering projects including the procurement and supervision of consultants and technical staff. High level of skill in managing multiple competing priorities, conducting complex research and evaluation and thinking strategically.High level interpersonal skills in fostering strategic relationships, stakeholder consultation and negotiation to achieve desired outcomes.
