We are currently seeking an experienced web project developer to take the lead on phase 2 website delivery in Brisbane, Australia.

This role needs to be filled as soon as possible and will be a contractual position until the end of December 2024, with the possibility of extension, allowing for 2 days of remote work.

The Principal Web Developer will oversee the implementation of a new employment reporting format utilizing SQUIZ Matrix and Highcharts. Additionally, they will be involved in supporting business as usual (BAU) web content review, advice, and publication for our Client franchise on the SQUIZ Matrix platform.

Scope of work:

  • Lead the Phase 2 website development project using the SQUIZ Matrix content management system
  • Drive accountability and ensure successful outcomes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Guarantee compliance with Queensland Government online standards, policies, and legislation while focusing on security, web writing, user experience, and web content accessibility
  • Utilize analytics, engage with key government stakeholders, and provide technical expertise for optimal CMS procurement and outcomes
  • Offer guidance on technical web development services and SEO best practices

Skills and experience:

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record in managing complex web projects
  • Extensive experience in customer experience (CX), website design, and content management systems, particularly SQUIZ Matrix
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript programming languages
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver clear project briefs and updates
  • Proficiency in research, planning, and CMS procurement
  • Transitioning HTML websites into CMS platforms
