Who we are seeking?

We are in search of an Accreditation and Student Administration Coordinator to join the Office of the Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice within the Academic Division.

The role of the Accreditation and Student Administration Coordinator is vital in coordinating, planning, and preparing submissions for all course accreditations within the Faculty. Additionally, this position involves overseeing student governance matters and collaborating with stakeholders. Establishing effective relationships with Academic Leads, Course Coordinators, Subject Area Coordinators, and academic staff is crucial.

Building and maintaining relationships with peers in QUT's Faculties and Divisions is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements for success

  • Education, training, or relevant experience equivalent to a degree with at least four years of administrative experience
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, oral communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to provide leadership during organizational changes
  • Capacity to take initiative and solve complex problems independently
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work both autonomously and in a team
  • Proficiency in digital literacy and using University information systems
