Our client are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Personal Banker to join their Enoggera, QLD branch. This role offers an exciting opportunity to connect with customers, providing them with personalised banking solutions that meet their financial needs. You will be part of a supportive and inclusive team, committed to delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:
As a Personal Banker, you will play a crucial role in supporting their customers' financial wellbeing. You will be in the branch 5 days a week, with hours generally being 8:30-4:30pm. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve connecting with customers, understanding their unique needs, and providing them with tailored banking solutions. You will work closely with your team, sharing knowledge and working together to deliver exceptional customer service. Staying abreast of the latest banking products and services will be key to your success in this role. You will also handle customer complaints and queries in a sensitive and professional manner, always striving to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

  • Provide comprehensive financial advice to customers, helping them make informed decisions about their finances
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored banking solutions
  • Work collaboratively with your team to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest banking products and services, ensuring you can offer the best solutions to customers

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Personal Banker role brings proven experience in a customer-facing role within the branch banking industry. You have strong interpersonal skills which allow you to build meaningful relationships with our customers. Your excellent communication skills enable you to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms. A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything you do. You have a good understanding of banking products and services, which enables you to provide tailored solutions to our customers. Your ability to work well in a team contributes positively to our collaborative work environment.
