What you will do

• Operate & maintain an automated DevOps Infrastructure-as-Code environment
• Implement scalable, resilient, and secure solutions in Azure and AWS
• Build robust and high quality DevOps practice
• Improve performance and set up reliable windows, Linux and container infrastructure
• Build self-serviced infrastructure provisioning
• Improvements made to their cloud platform, increasing delivery speed and product flexibility
• Create, release and test infrastructure provisioning in a continuous delivery pattern using terraform
• Monitoring, fixing and continuously improving production and non-prod infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues relating to infrastructure
• Implement a high level of security auditing and monitoring
• Take ownership of disaster recover, backups and restore procedures
• Deployment, configuration & verification of key mission critical applications (such as S/4, ECC, BW, PI/PO, SFTP, Web Dispatcher, and Cloud connector) & infrastructure (VM provisioning using Terraform, Ansible scripting and troubleshooting)
• Operational support as SME for 24x7 systems including on-call rotation duties
• Scripting and operating automated deployment processes
• Design & deploy key SaaS Applications, Management elements & DevOps toolsets
• Provide extensive troubleshooting & technical expertise in identifying issues that impact service delivery
• Recommend fixes for application issues, including cloud, application, network, database & management systems
• Participate in scheduling, planning & implementing changes and new system deployment
• Utilize support experience to set & improve existing standards and processes for DevOps operations such as automation, monitoring, reporting and documentation

What you bring

• Strong expertise with Linux (RedHat, SUSE, Ubuntu)
• Strong expertise in Ansible & Terraform scripting
• Expertise with AWS and/or Azure
• Expertise with CI/CD pipeline technologies
• Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience with Apache, Tomcat & Java
• Experience in operating within an Infrastructure-as-Code environment
• Experience in SaaS multitenant environment architecture
• Experience building, implementing & supporting monitoring & logging tools
• Experience with Microsoft Server OS, SQL Server and Active Directory is a plus
• Experience in SAP applications and underlying infrastructure is a plus
• SAP Basis experience and understanding of SAP systems architecture is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
• Demonstrated IT work experience with an emphasis on production support of high-capacity mission critical Cloud applications & systems
• Experience running mid- to large-scale implementation projects, often with tight deadlines

• Solid understanding of Linux, DevOps Automation and Scripting for Infrastructure as a code
• Understanding of networking concepts
• Understanding of DNS concepts
• Good understanding of AWS and Azure Infrastructure
