We are partnering closely with our client, a leader in delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions, and are eager to grow our team in Sydney CBD.

We are currently seeking a skilled Cost Engineer to oversee projects spanning renewables, infrastructure, mining and rail sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive cost programs across all projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and budgets.
  • Utilize P6 software to effectively track project costs, forecasts, and expenditures.
  • Collaborate with a small team of planners to ensure accurate project cost estimates and financial reporting.
  • Engage in stakeholder management activities, fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Apply your expertise in renewables, infrastructure, or rail to provide valuable insights and recommendations for cost optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in cost engineering, with a focus on renewables, infrastructure, or rail projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 software is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in project management and familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
