My client is a leading Power Engineering company, looking to expand their Electrical Engineering team because of a solid pipeline of projects. They are dedicated to shaping the future of energy through innovative power generation solutions. They have a skilled team of experts who are passionate about engineering excellence, sustainability, and delivering impactful projects.


Role Overview:

  • Detailed design of electrical systems and subsystems.
  • Collaborate with the electrical project design team for design and project execution.
  • Engineer projects from concept to handover, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Prepare design work following engineering specifications.
  • Conduct estimates for engineering tasks.
  • Engage with customers, contractors, and suppliers for project success.
  • Perform factory testing and site commissioning of equipment.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in electrical design, project engineering, and support.
  • Mid to Senior level Electrical Engineering.
  • Heavy industry experience preferably with full project lifecycle exposure.
  • Knowledge in LV to HV systems, protection, earthing, and lighting.
  • Proficiency in hazardous area competency.
  • Excellent communication skills with problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with MS Suite, MS Project, and AutoCad.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • International applicants must have work rights for Australia.
