This role presents an opportunity to learn broking from the ground up, fostering a long-term and rewarding career in broking.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Promote the client as a company
  • Provide comprehensive support to brokers for the smooth running of the desk
  • Identify trade opportunities and calculate strategies
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships, and reach out to prospective new clients where appropriate
  • Stay updated on products and markets, actively seeking feedback from industry participants
  • Understand the desk's business strategy and identify new business opportunities
  • On-board new clients following the correct process
  • Assess client needs and financial conditions for internal cross-selling opportunities
  • Understand relevant regulations within the evolving regulatory landscape
  • Support a risk and compliance-aware culture, complying with group policies
  • Exercise independent judgment with integrity, care, skill, and diligence, escalating issues as needed

    Experience / Competences:
    Essential:
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills with a sense of urgency
  • Problem-solving ability
  • People-oriented, with the ability to engage with different types of individuals
  • Demonstrated resilience
    Desired:
  • A degree in economics, finance, or related field
  • Previous sales experience
