Provide Financial Accounting services to various Managed Investment fund and Property fund clients in a timely and efficient manner.

Oversee and review of junior team members and provide mentoring.

Job Responsibilities:

The role duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

Management of key client accounts and relationships

Maintenance of the general ledger for Managed Investment funds / Property funds and reconcile back to the source of truth on a timely basis.

Prepare month end accounting reports trial balance, profit/loss, balance sheet and client specific reports as required by clients.

Calculation of periodic taxable income distributions for Managed Investment funds / Property funds.

Preparation of BAS returns and assist with tax returns.

Create annual and semi-annual financial statements for Managed Inv. / Property funds.

Review the work performed by fund accountants.

Provide mentoring and support to junior team members

Work with audits and clients to ensure all requirements and requests are answer in a timely manner

Ad hoc project work including improvement of processes and procedures.

Oversight of the work being prepared in offshore locations

Proven Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in a fund accounting role

CPA / CA qualifications

Experience in oversight and review of accountants

Intermediate to Advanced excel skills

Experience in using administration systems like Hiport or Paxus

Skills Required:

An understanding and interest in financial markets
