Responsibilities:


  • Deliver, enhance, and provide support for the Gateway that backs the client's platform.
  • Define, review, evaluate, offer advice, make alterations as needed, plan and execute engineering tasks under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Generate high-quality documentation to support the product engineering foundation.
  • Evaluate and suggest suitable technology solutions, including hardware, software, firmware, and relevant vendors for a task.
  • Evaluate and advise on system architecture as it pertains to a task.
  • Manage ITSM changes, including creating and/or maintaining engineering artifacts and Service Records using established SMB ITSM procedures.
  • Assess the effectiveness of defect rectification activities following the Technical Assurance Framework.
  • Provide engineering support to evaluate and address Obsolescence within the Strategic Gateway Environment (SGE).
  • Manage the implementation and handover for support of gateway components, supporting the network engineer.
  • Contribute to the formulation of detailed designs and Technical Implementation Instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate ITSM changes, including creating and/or maintaining engineering artifacts and Service Records through established SMB ITSM processes.
