Trainer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our club as a Trainer for the Harvey Norman Women's Premiership team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the provision of structured, innovative, and professional support to players at the HNWP level at the Wentworthville Magpies District Rugby League Football Club by:

Operational

• Assist with the implementation of programs in accordance with the NRL philosophies.
• Provide specific assistance with the preparation of players for training sessions and games.
• Assessment and treatment of injuries combined with referral process to the club doctor or physiotherapist.
• Assist with completion of players testing protocols.
• Assist with the transportation of training & game day equipment.
• Strapping and taping of players prior to training sessions and games.
• Attend all training sessions, Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening and weekend game days.
• Assist with the physical preparation of players not selected and/or returning from injury. This is to be done with the input from the coaching staff.
• Assist with the game day warm up as outlined by the coaching staff.
• Fulfil the role of yellow shirt on game day.
• Maintain positive relationships with the staff and players under your direction to achieve optimal results.
• Provide quality feedback to players regarding their development.
• Maintain and extend coaching qualifications where possible.
• Liaise with team manager regarding any team/player enquiries.
