An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Intermediate Accountant to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, gain exposure to various aspects of accounting, and develop their career within a nurturing and inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
  • Support the tax team by preparing corporate tax returns and other related tasks
  • Conduct regular ledger reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies
  • Participate in internal audits, follow-up on findings, and assist in implementing agreed actions
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures and systems

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role within the public practice sector
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
