As a Senior Aircraft Power Plants Engineer within the Qantas Approved Design Organisation's Operational Support Team (OST), you will provide specialized support to Qantas Group aircraft globally. Your expertise will be essential in making sound engineering decisions, developing maintenance support, and creating repair and modification instructions.

Requirements:

  • Professional Engineering degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience with Qantas Group aircraft engines.
  • Experience in developing and approving engineering instructions for repairs and modifications on Boeing or Airbus aircraft engines.
  • Ability to provide timely specialized engineering support.
  • Thorough understanding of CASA regulations.
  • Experience managing design projects and meeting stakeholder requirements.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to manage expectations.
  • Commitment to teamwork and flexibility.
