About the Opportunity

This role is a 12 month contract based opportunity with a high chance of renewal. A flexible, hybrid work environment ensures a great work-life balance - this is a Geelong based position and requires some time spent in office. This is a full time position open to Australian Citizens only.

About the Role

The AAT (Administrative Appeals Tribunal) Case Management Branch manages all external review

applications in the AAT. The branch aims to improve the experience of current and prospective stakeholders by resolving applications for review in a timely and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

Undertaking end to end case management activities, subject to appropriate line manager input and oversight.Obtaining necessary information and advice to effectively resolve AAT matters.Applying alternate dispute resolution methods and advocacy skills to resolving applications/reviews, in keeping with the model litigant principles.Attending Case Conferences, Conciliations and Hearings conducted by the AAT.Preparing and maintaining electronic record keeping, including evidence supporting decision making processes and justifying conclusions reached during the case management process.
