This public sector agency is in search of an HR Information Systems (HRIS) expert to lead the final stage of their transition from Tech1 payroll to Aurion. While familiarity with both systems is beneficial, it is not mandatory.



Your responsibilities will include:

  • Apply specialized HRIS knowledge to advise on best practices, actively supporting the Payroll team in designing and implementing an effective solution to meet operational requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct thorough End User Training sessions for the BAU Team, ensuring a proficient grasp of the new Payroll procedures.
  • Keep the Chief People Officer consistently informed on project advancement, issues, and obstacles.
  • Provide top-quality payroll system support services to ensure prompt and professional fulfillment of clients' needs.
  • Contribute to multiple client projects offering various services such as payroll processing, reporting, customization, EOFY processing, system upgrade testing, STP2, and process enhancement.
  • Actively participate in training opportunities (self-paced and team-based) to enhance your Aurion system expertise, thus broadening your consulting services proficiency.
  • Meet billable targets, engage in regular team updates, and enhance knowledge to contribute effectively to the team’s collective expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address their project and work-related requirements.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Minimum of 2 Payroll implementations within a complex industrial setting
  2. Thorough knowledge of the end-to-end payroll process within the payroll industry.
  3. Solid understanding of Rostering, Time, and Award solutions.
  4. Effective time management capabilities and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
  5. High level of accuracy in both written and verbal communication.
  6. Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively within a team environment.
  7. This role is ideal for individuals with exceptional communication skills, experience in managing internal and external stakeholders, and a commitment to achieving outstanding results.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in HRIS implementation, with the groundwork already laid out in this contract role. Help facilitate the organization's shift from Tech1 software to Aurion for payroll operations while overseeing the transition and end user training.
