The Pricing Analyst is responsible for ensuring our commercial offering to our customers is both competitive and commercial viable, while also being responsible for businesses financial control & reporting, tracking of financial performance and analysis of key metrics and results.

This role reports to the Senior Management Accountant, but works closely with the Finance Business Partner, National Sales Team and National Account Management Team to ensure that the business strategies are delivered and deployed, and all of our bids are as competitive and commercially viable as possible.

Day to day you'll be...

  • Liaising with Sales and Account Management teams to provide profitable pricing solutions
  • Maintaining benchmarks around pricing standards
  • Reviewing customer contracts to safeguard our business
  • Preparing reporting and analytical tools using PowerBI and Excel
  • Developing and maintaining commercial models to understand the profitability of various offerings to customers
  • Developing tracking to understand ongoing customer profitability and contract viability
  • Reviewing and consolidating large market monthly results, including insight and commentary
  • Providing monthly performance reporting and value add analysis that enables business stakeholders to make informed decisions
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts

  • Interpersonal skills and communication are your strengths in the workplace
  • You're someone who is genuinely passionate about interpreting high volumes of data to provide insights to the business.
  • You have the ability to think commercially, be proactive, manage deadlines as well as think outside of the box to solve complex problems.
  • You have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role (Financial control/Audit)
  • Comfortable using Excel and PowerBI to manipulate, transform and present data
  • CA/CPA qualification or studying towards is desirable
