Analytical Chemist

Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, based in the northern suburbs of Brisbane is seeking an analytical Chemist to join their laboratory team for a causal full time position, working Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities and dutiesPerforms normal analytical work and exercises individual judgement and initiative in the application of scientific principles, techniques and methodsCarry out routine analysis on samples and products in the quality control laboratoryFollow Analytical Laboratory Methods and SOP's, and adhere to Pharmacopoeia's, regulatory and GLP, GMP GuidelinesPlan and coordinate own workloadAdherence to laboratory calibration schedulesPerformance track record of attention to detailSkills and ExperienceBachelor of Science (Chemistry or related Discipline)Wet chemical and instrumental techniques (e.g. Wet Chemistry, HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, TLC, dissolution testing)Working knowledge of GMP and GLP guidelinesPharmaceutical analysis or a related field (desirable)Testing from USP and BP monographs (desirable) Does this sound like you?
