Position Summary:

Software Automation Engineer position requires knowledge and expertise in designing, building, testing, deploying and maintain software applications on traditional and cloud-based environment using CI/CD pipelines. This role needs solid and strong knowledge in developing unit tests and test automation as part of quality engineering process, performing code reviews and documentation, building DevOps and CICD pipeline management, being responsible for risk analysis, performance engineering and reporting, working closely with clients and business interaction.

Mandatory Skills:

· Strong Knowledge on programming and mark up languages such as – Java, JavaScript, typescript, C# .Net, XML and HTML

· Core domain knowledge on Banking and financial services, Payments, Insurance, Automotive and Industrial automation.

· SME in Automation Frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, protractor with TDD (TestNG/Junit) and BDD (Cucumber and spec flow), Rest assured and Soap Automation, Android and iOS device automation.

· Highly detailed oriented ability on Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo and build tools such as Maven, Gradle, Node JS and extensive experience in SCM tools like GitHub, Bit Bucket and Teams foundation server.

· Must be proficient in DB (Oracle, MySQL, Mango DB) and in Triggers and Procedures.

· Ability to work in Agile and Waterfall models with knowledge in test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence and HP ALM/QC.

· Preferable to have extensive experience in web-based testing, mobile apps and desktop-based applications.

· Experience in working with a scrum team and interacting with business analysts, developers, product owners and the business stake holders for the development of new features and quality of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for Designing, developing Automation scripts using Java, javascript, typescript static and dynamic code review, supporting and documenting software systems and applications code.

· Accountable in working as a part of scrum team, interacting with business analysts, developers, product owners and the business stake holders for the development of new feature in the mobile and web application.

· Look After Automation testing and doing all phases of Testing (Functional Testing, System testing and Regression Testing). Participating in preparing Test cases, Test Execution, Defect Tracking and Reporting.

· Responsible for code review activity which is developed by team members as per the project coding standards and merging the code to GIT repository. Raising pull requests, verifying, and approving pull requests of the team members.

· Highly skilled in the creation and maintenance of DevOps infrastructure and CICD pipelines using the Automation Server called Hudson.

· Performs Accessibility testing on different android and IOS mobile devices with different OS versions and end to end accessibility automation testing.

· Provide usability, serviceability, and quality risk for the project, involved in discussions of enhancement and improvement of the application functionality, implementation & regression testing of scenarios to increase the quality of the product.

· Responsible for maintaining and execution of functional test scripts using selenium, playwright and perfecto cloud. Developed and performed visual test cases for all android and IOS devices using Applitools.

· Lead different modules and interfaces and skilled team member with proven ability to lead and motivate teams to maximize productivity and improvement of quality of the applications.
