Our client is seeking a Senior Project Finance Manager to join their dynamic team in Sydney, NSW. This role offers the opportunity to work with a group of professionals in the Technology Division. The successful candidate will be a trusted adviser, providing financial advice, planning, forecasting and solutions to assist the business achieve its strategy and business priorities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, supporting business units in achieving cost targets & forecasts, and driving project outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Build strong relationships and communication channels between teams.
  • Support the business to achieve cost targets & forecasts.
  • Assist in financial modelling required for business cases, change requests and scenario analysis.
  • Provide effective business analysis and advice to leadership teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactively drive project outcomes that achieve project targets.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in financial management within the financial services industry.
  • Professional accounting qualification completed - ACA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience in Technology / Consumer Bank finance is desirable.
  • Solid working knowledge of core policies and guidelines.
  • Highly developed analytical skills with strong commercial acumen.
  • Advanced customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively influence, negotiate and manage expectations at a senior management level.
  • Experience supporting large and diverse cost base.
