What You'll Do:
As the Financial Analyst you will primarily be supporting our Supply Chain and Service business on a 10-month fixed term contract.
You will be responsible for all aspects in relation to inventory management and cost accounting matters in an accurate, timely and consistent manner and ensure financial transactions are generated into accurate meaningful results.
In specific you will:
- Complete all monthend tasks in accordance with financial accounting and reporting deadline
- Analyse general ledger, P & L and Balance sheet as required to understand major drivers of variance
- Manufacturing Accounting/Supply Chain Focus you will take full ownership of the preparation, analysis and reporting of PPV, Production Variance and other related report
- Interact with various stakeholder from across the business and provide finance business partner support
- Timely review, preparations and completion of reconciliations including advising manager of material outstanding issues
- Ensure appropriate review of routing, bill of materials and cost roll up to ensure correct valuation of Inventory
- Development of planning bill of materials, and standard cost analysis activities as part of the annual standard cost setting activities
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a financial analyst role or similar
- Bachelors' degree in Business/ Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
- Strong Excel skills, including ability to do vlookup, pivot tables
- TM1 and Power BI exposure would be a bonus
- Previous experience working with Supply Chain business highly advantageous
- Ability to analyse information and use logic to perform task efficiently, within deadlines
- Exposure to preparing, presenting and clearly communicating solutions to both technical and business audiences
