Warehousing Traineeship

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a
Fulltime Warehouse Trainee to join
Jaybro at their warehouse in
Laverton North, Melbourne.

If you're eager to learn and develop new skills, completing a qualification would be a great opportunity.

Undertaking this two-year traineeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Logistic Specialist and earn your
Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations - Warehousing Operations (TLI30321).

You will be responsible for and contribute to:

• Stock Management
• Picking and packing items
• Physically unloading containers and pallets
• Organising freight consignments
• Processing purchase orders
• Operating RF Scanners and completing online training
• Using Pallet Jacks & Forklift machinery, if certified to do so
• Ensuring health and safety requirements are met

ABOUT YOU

• Have the desire to learn and have a positive attitude
• Energetic & proactive, acceptive of change/cross training willingness to learn and grow
• Great communication and interpersonal skills confidence to ask questions
• Attention to detail and basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment will be well regarded but not required
• Ambition to Wow internal & external customers
• Reliable and punctual
• Good safety awareness
• Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
• Forklift licence well regarded but if you are prepared to learn, we would look to put you through the course
  at no cost to you:
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test and police check
• Be up to date with or willing to get COVID19 vaccinations
