Spring Professional are working with one of its biggest Property services clients in a search to attract a procurement/contract manager into its Sydney Group procurement functions.

This is a newly created role that sits at the intersection between Procurement and Property services strategy.

The key aim of this role is to advise the business across all its asset classes and drive best practice, compliance, and efficiency.

The key task of the role include.

  • Working daily with the National Manager
  • Technical Services and the Head of Procurement in the development and implementation of Procurement and Property Services Strategy and Operational objectives.
  • End to end management of tenders including creation of RFQ's through to suppler section and negotiations and award of contracts.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of Procurement policies, procedures & systems.
  • Being the focal point of contact to guide internal stakeholders in guiding and review of policies & procedures compliance.
  • Management of National supplier relationships including regular supplier performance reviews.
Specifically, around contract management, the role will focus on Electrical/Mechanical services, Fire services, building and vertical transport services. It will suit a contract manager who has worked in property/ building services.

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role and sector (Property highly desirable)
  • End to end Procurement and tender management experience.
  • Building services management experience including project management.
  • Technical knowledge of WHS and building regulations.
  • A creative "cando" approach to working out issues, strategies, or disputes.
