We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and creative 2D Graphic Artist to join a supreme digital games studio that dominates the online gaming space in Australia. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and dynamic design team and take on a major role in building the next generation of online games.

Your Role:

  • Responsible for providing vision and input in enhancing features, creativity and innovation to ensure that the designs meet the business objectives and reflect the company brand
  • Creating Game assets concept art as well as Game design storyboards and concept art
  • Responsible for final production 2D game art
  • Pushing the boundaries of what's technically possible to ensure ongoing product improvement and enhance the overall customer experience
  • Working alongside the design team and Art Director, you will be responsible for crafting visually stunning, creative and high-quality user interface designs usability.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in casual game concept art and UI design (icons, controls, visual elements)
  • Advanced skills in Adobe CS Suite or better
  • Creativity as well as advanced sketching ,drawing and conceptualisation skills with an ability to adapt to variety of styles
  • Final production 2D game art
  • Game User Interface
  • Web Design and Interface
  • Menu Design and Interface
  • Game environments and character concept art
  • Experience in web and mobile games
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in unity 3D and 3D texturing skills are not essential but highly desirable
  • Must possess fundamental illustration skills including composition, perspective and colour theory
  • A strong work ethic and understanding of architecture ,surface texture and anatomy
  • Must have an appropriate Australian work visa
