About the job

We are excited about the new opportunity for a
Master Data Analyst as part of our talented Master Data team based in Chatswood, Sydney.

As one of the key members of the team, you will manage and analyse large data sets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.


Reporting to Master Data Manager, you will provide efficient support to the daily operations of Danone whilst maintaining a high level of data integrity.

You will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand as well as partner with external auditors as part of Danone's compliance due diligence.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain and update all relevant master data for the vendor, customer, products, and materials
  • Ensure periodic and regular master data cleansing activity involving data analysis/validation and detection of obsolete data
  • Contribute to business projects involving Master Data activity
  • Process documentation whilst defining and adhering to key processes
  • Create and maintain Master Data for the business based on appropriate document flow and approval process
  • Complete various reporting requirements and work towards clearly set KPI's
  • Mitigate risk by completing various tasks compliant with Danone's internal audit requirements
  • Regular communication with Global Master Data teams and IT services related to incidents, service requests, and change management
  • Support internal functions with continuous improvement and problemsolving
About you
You are a proactive and energetic professional who has expertise in data governance, data quality, and data management. You enjoy working with data and within an area of a business where detail is key.

You will have strong relationship building skills and enjoy working with a variety of internal stakeholders to provide guidance and advice around all things Master Data.


Ideally, you will have:

  • Proven experience of at least 2 years working in a similar role
  • Experience working within the FMCG industry would be an advantage
  • Sound working knowledge of SAP is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for data accuracy
  • Prior experience working with Excel is preferred
  • Agile mindset and ability to work with shifting priorities
  • Excellent communications skills with a service focus
