Provide engineering troubleshooting assistance to customer support teams and other development teams within Charles River.

Responsibilities:

Drive technical excellence by working independently to analyze, design, develop, test and debug complex data models, ELT code generation and execution using metadata models and enhancements within various technical problem domains including modifications to core frameworks and other primary facilities critical to system operation using Java, SQL or other related software engineering languages Participate actively in the design of product architecture within the team's scope of responsibility pertaining to new data models development and ELT code generation and execution Provide thought leadership in the design of product architecture within and beyond the team's scope of responsibility Direct problem solving for projects or major phases of projects to resolve advanced software technical issues Actively participate in cross-team co-ordination to understand and solve data flow requirements of Data Warehouse team Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Data Warehouse initiatives, answer questions raised in future about the product Identify ways of improving development test methodologies contribute to related test methodology frameworks Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to turn business requirements of moderate complexity into working and sustainable software Come up with a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for larger initiatives Write unit and automation tests to ensure a high-quality product Conduct manual tests (if necessary) to ensure a high-quality product Contribute to written design and API documentation, and participate in customer documentation process Actively assist team leaders in the agile software development process by adhering to and advancing the CRD scrum methodology, including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives Work with peers in a collaborative team environment Provide mentoring to junior and senior staff members Provide engaging demos of developed features to stakeholders Provide troubleshooting guidelines for operational issues#CRDPolan Similar Jobs (5) Principal Software Engineer, Charles River Development, Vice President locations 3 Locations time type Full time posted on Posted 3 Days Ago Principal Software Engineer, Vice President, Charles River Development locations 3 Locations time type Full time posted on Posted 22 Days Ago Senior Software Engineer, Charles River Development, Assistant Vice President locations 3 Locations time type Full time posted on Posted 30+ Days Ago Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
