HSE Officer to join our team.

The position

  • Functional support to Site Leadership teams to review and implement key Health Safety & Environment regulatory and compliance activities.
  • Assist business unit and site with the Cleanaway HSE Management System including data collection and analysis.
  • Working within Cleanaway's Hydrocarbon Services business unit you will be responsible for providing direct HSE support, assistance and advisory services to the site within your areas of responsibility. You will ensure management and workers are aware of and operate within the Cleanaway and statutory HSE requirements and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance and outcomes in the daytoday activities.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Role model our values and behaviours' to the business and ensure that leaders promote our values.
  • Support H&S initiatives such as Drug and Alcohol testing, Hazard Identification etc on site.
  • Contribute to the development and review of the HSE Management Standards and related documentation.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven experience in a professional HSE staff role
  • Waste management experience is desirable
  • Proven experience in training and assessing plant and equipment
  • Highly organised and good communication skills
  • Safety systems experience (for example MyOSH)
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Cert IV in WHS/ OH&S
