Barista responsibilities and duties:

Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages
Good communication skills
Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
Promote Piccolo Me Loyalty program
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
Follow health and safety guidelines
Adhere to recipe and presentation standards for food and beverage items coffees with latte art
Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
Contribute to a positive team environment
Barista qualifications and skills can handle up to 6 kilos of coffee on shift
POS and cash handling

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Right attitude high energy levels, hardworking, reliable, honest, passionate, always welcoming and smiling to customers
Ability to work as part of a positive and close knit team as well as thrive independently
Well presented, strong communication and time management skills
Minimum of 23 years experience preferred
Immaculate personal presentation
Can speak English fluently and must be in Australia for at least 12 months
Experienced and comfortable working busy shifts

HOURS:32-38 hours per week
