Reporting to the Plant Manager, this hands-on role will see you perform and oversee the technical tasks related to the engineering, installation, and maintenance of production equipment, warehouse infrastructure, and facilities.

You will:

  • Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment, including refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, security, general repairs, and other assets in the distribution center
  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues, including repair and replacement of assets to minimize production downtime
  • Source and manage spare parts, consumables, tools, and other related maintenance equipment needed to ensure assets are in good working order
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and site stakeholders to plan, install, commission, and maintain production equipment in the distribution center
  • Manage contractors and suppliers; define the scope of work, oversee tasks, and ensure completion of deliverables
  • Promptly & communicate all safetyrelated issues and concerns
  • Support equipment and facilities upgrades required to improve safety, quality, and productivity

You have:

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a fastpaced production environment
  • Electrical, mechanical, and maintenancerelated certifications are highly desirable
  • Facilities management is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of trades related to site facilities, repair, and overhaul
  • Availability to work weekend schedules and cold facilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and video conferencing (Hangouts Meet)
