  • This role can be based in Adelaide, Melbourne or Canberra

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a high level of advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company with respect to EXIM Compliance matters.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations governing the shipment, transfer, receipt and documentation of EXIM products and technical data.
  • Provide guidance as part of the EXIM Compliance Team in accordance with Lockheed Martin (LM) policy and pursuant to Lockheed Martin Australia's (LMA's) EXIM Compliance Management Plan.
  • Provide guidance on the use of International Commercial Terms (Incoterms), Free Trade Agreements and other preferential duty programs.
  • Review nonAustralian Export authorisations. Example U.S. Technical Assistance Agreements.
  • Participate in EXIM Briefings and facilitate in maintaining companywide EXIM training records.
  • Support implementation of improvement processes in relation to LMA's EXIM Compliance Management Plan and associated processes tools and implementation aids.
  • Facilitate access by authorised personnel to project articles (data and hardware) that may be export controlled or

S) and report upon unauthorised access, transfer / disclosure.

  • Provide advice and support to LM Programs / Projects in the tracking & recording of export controlled and O: S articles utilising LM Article Control tools and processes.
  • Conduct regular project EXIM compliance audits and ensure project EXIM compliance corrective actions are being closed out in a timely fashion.
  • Report upon companywide EXIM compliance health status and escalate potential EXIM compliance exposures for management action in a timely fashion.
  • Liaise with Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers to ensure Exports and Imports of goods are transacted through the Integrated Cargo System correctly.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from customers, government agencies or internal contacts.
  • Establish procedures to ensure compliance with appropriate statutes, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met.
  • Establish and coordinate compliance programs and tools designed to increase awareness and knowledge of compliance policies, laws and regulations.
  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems, and provide and implement effective approved solutions.
  • Actively attend and contribute to customer meetings as required
  • Actively contribute to the successful completion of specific programs and initiatives.
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the Induction of new personnel as required.
  • Comply with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions, including those relating to nondiscrimination, environment, safety, duty of care, and the quality management system
