What you'll do:

Other Key Duties

• Provide analytical data to support and establish purchase quantities and determine the most economical source as appropriate.
• Perform purchasing/importing function such as the issuance of purchase orders on vendors and associate companies.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel purchase orders as usage warrants, to maintain optimum stock levels to meet business requirements and to maximise inventory turnover.
• Coordinate the issuing of purchase orders for indent products to ensure product availability to meet customers' requirements.
• Communicate with internal and external suppliers

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience, with knowledge of inventory control
• Proficiency with Oracle, or similar ERP system
• Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar
• Excellent communication skills and a customer focused attitude
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A continuous improvement mindset is a must
