This role reports directly to the Head of Delivery.

How you will spend your time

As a Delivery Lead, you will:

  • Engage Effectively: Collaborate with executives, business, technology, operations, risk, and third-party suppliers to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead Delivery Squads: Guide teams through the delivery lifecycle, creating structure and employing a pragmatic, customer-focused mindset.
  • Facilitate Workshops: Conduct collaborative meetings across squads and domains, ensuring the right people are together at the right time for optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee Governance: Manage initiatives' governance and due diligence, meeting quality, technology, risk, and industry standards for timely, safe, and sustainable release delivery.
  • Communicate Strategically: Clearly articulate the context and strategic intent of initiatives, guiding immediate actions to address challenges.
  • Support Decision-Making: Provide stakeholders with clear information for informed decision-making, aligned with prioritised business and customer outcomes.
  • Navigate Ambiguity: Support delivery teams through uncertainty and changes, fostering continuous improvement in delivery and decision-making processes.
  • Build Metrics: Develop and maintain delivery team metrics to highlight effective practices and identify improvement areas.


What you will bring

Essential

  • Experience in a similar position of Delivery Lead/IT Project Management.
  • Experience in Financial Services.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • High level of organisational skills & attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management & prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to problem solve, exercising good judgment & discretion.
  • Adaptability & flexibility to manage changing situations and priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience with Microsoft suite, Slack and Confluence (or other collaboration tools).
  • Vendor Management.
