Physiotherapy Assistant Director (Acute Stroke, Geriatrics & Medicine)

The QEII Jubilee Hospital Physiotherapy Department are looking for a Permanent Full-time Physiotherapy Assistant Director Position to join their team. The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services and a 24-hour emergency department. Our endoscopy unit is Australia's most advanced diagnostic facility and has the capacity to see more than 5000 patients a year.Metro South Video Link

About the Role

  • Deliver advanced clinical and consultancy physiotherapy services to acute stroke, geriatrics and medicine services, in accordance with accepted professional practices, legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence.
  • Provide specialised/advanced clinical advice and direction to a team of physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary.
  • Prepare, analyse and interpret data and trends for caseload allocation, service improvement, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
  • Demonstrate clinical leadership and expertise obtained through significant professional development activities, post graduate education or formal qualifications and actively pursues development and learning opportunities, including contribution to training of physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants and other health professionals.
