About the opportunity:

Are you a talented Senior SAP Developer looking to make a significant impact in the world of digital client services? Our government agency are seeking a Senior SAP Developer to be part of a high-performing team.

Embarking on multiple projects supporting the delivery of cutting-edge digital services to valued clients.

Role Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing digital capabilities. Collaborating closely with agency teams to deliver client-centric solutions. You will provide your technical expertise to optimize and fortify the SAP system (ECC6 on-premises). Your contributions will drive efficiency and resilience, ensuring that agency remains at the forefront of digital innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance SAP development tools, including updates, process management, documentation, and issue troubleshooting.
  • Conduct custom development tasks, from design to coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Translate business needs into technical designs and programming tasks, reviewing and approving related deliverables.
  • Offer product support to end users, assist with issue resolution, and provide training when needed.
  • Develop performance monitoring procedures and utilize data for identifying and addressing weaknesses.
  • Guide the team in designing security roles, permissions, and profiles aligned with business processes.
  • Contribute to future cloud migration and ERP digital transformation planning.
Required skills and experience:

1. 5+ years' experience in the development and implementation of SAP (ECC6.0 or higher) solutions.
2. Ability to troubleshoot performance problems within SAP ECC6.
3. Able to resolve time sensitive issues in a fast-paced production environment.
4. Experience with SAP financial modules is required.
5.

Must possess the ability to contribute to the development of new processes, effectively identify, analyse and resolve highly complex technical issues.
