We are currently seeking a Field Test Lead to join our V&V team in Perth, WA. Reporting to the Systems Assurance Manager, the Field Test Lead is responsible for overseeing signaling integration and site acceptance tests. This role involves managing all signaling field testing activities from planning to execution, necessitating collaboration with stakeholders for coordination, logistics, and scheduling.

Although not a FIFO role, occasional travel to the site will be needed.



Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Field Testers, allocate tasks, ensure quality standards, and manage competencies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish field work programs
  • Develop and uphold the signaling field testing activities program
  • Create and maintain the signaling field testing work package, including resources and costs
  • Identify resource requirements, plan workloads, and consider scheduling constraints
  • Define the scope of work and oversee contractors supporting testing activities
  • Engage with external parties to determine access to external systems
  • Cooperate with customers to establish a joint integration strategy
  • Work with the Installation Team to ensure assets are prepared before field testing activities

About You
  • Experience in intricate railway system integration projects
  • Preferred experience in system interfaces and project delivery
  • Familiarity with testing and commissioning signaling moving block systems
  • Project management tertiary qualification
  • Desirable experience in the mining industry
