A not-for-profit disability support provider that specialises in working with people with frequent and complex support needs, including 24/7 assistance.

We build teams around every client, depending on each person's needs and preferences.

We partner with people with any type of disability who want to live independently in the community (and we love to make that happen).

Our clients may have physical disability, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, intellectual disability or autism. We're honoured that many of our clients rely solely on InLife for their essential support needs. Nobody else. Just us.

Our teams are based in Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria, including Benalla, Wangaratta, Stawell and Bendigo.

  • We are building a team of support staff for 3 clients living in their own homes who require full support with all aspects of daily living. They need full support both at home and in the community and can present with BoC in the form of property damage, self harm, verbal and physical aggression.
  • Our clients have different health needs that include epilepsy, vision impairment and risk of falls and will also require assistance with personal care.
  • The clients we are recruiting for communicate with their own individualised communication methods, which you will be required to learn
  • Shift times: availability to work a mixture of days and nights; approximately between the hours of 7am5pm 511pm, sleepovers and active nights (approx 10pm till 7am).

To do a great job, you'll need:


  • Experience and understanding of clients with Behaviours of Concern (BOC) is essential:
  • Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values.

Excellent clear communication skills, able to learn the clients individual communication

  • Experience in Personal Care (showering and dressing) and assistance with domestic duties
  • Experience supporting people with a physical disability including transfers/use of equipment and confident in hoisting (advantageous but not essential).
  • Experience in Mental Health would be an advantage but not essential
  • Understanding of and commitment to NDIS policies and principles, especially regarding clients exercising choice and control
  • Willingness to support residents with activities of daily living as well as hobbies
  • Have great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with clients
  • Willing to work with a care team approach and incorporate the guidance of residents, families, and professionals. This would include open communication with all stakeholders to develop strategies to support our clients to live independently as well as creating a welcoming environment to live in
  • Full drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with providing transport in your own vehicle sometimes (we reimburse you for costs)
  • Willing to work varied shifts with varied hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends together with some short shifts, sleepovers and active night shifts. We also need you to be able to commit to ongoing shifts.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.


As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
