ABOUT THE ROLE:


Working alongside other senior team members, you will be responsible for the leadership of pastoral care and bereavement services within the psychosocial services team.

The position involves the provision of specialist pastoral care or bereavement care across Mercy Place Ballarat. The leadership component involves service development and innovation, supervision, and staff development.

Summary of the role:

  • Deliver high quality pastoral care for residents, families and staff
  • Respond effectively to the diverse spiritual and religious needs of residents
  • Promote a contemporary understanding of pastoral and spiritual care with residents, families and staff

ABOUT YOU:

  • At least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or other relevant qualification
  • Theological and/or other relevant graduate qualifications
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to lead a Catholic Communion Service (desirable)
