Job Opportunity: Local Area Marketing Specialist

Are you passionate about retail, marketing, events, and social media? Join our growing retailer at their Adelaide head office as a Local Area Marketing Specialist Be part of an amazing team, driving brand engagement and elevating the customer experience across our accessible luxury and value retail segments.

Position: Local Area Marketing Specialist Location: Mile End Full-Time Position

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead local area marketing initiatives for both of brands, focusing on new store openings and enhancing the LAM function for specific opportunities and focus stores.
  • Collaborate with national campaign specialists, particularly with Westfield Scentre Group, to leverage key major campaigns and drive brand awareness nationally.
  • Plan and execute new/reopening store events and campaigns, ensuring a memorable brand experience for customers.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local brand experience influencers and stylists to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Activate promotional campaigns and engage with shopping centres to participate in joint initiatives.
  • Utilise social media platforms to amplify event reach and engagement, including behind-the-camera involvement for live coverage of events and new store openings.

Requirements:

  • Past experience in retail and event management, with a strong background in social media marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute successful events and promotional campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive and creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Able to travel (paid for) for events and store activations (no more than 1-2 nights at time)
