What You'll Do:

As an Assembly Team Member, you'll be a key player in our assembly process, collaborating with a dynamic and skilled team

Your mission:
to assemble top-of-the-line service vehicles and watercarts, plus a range of other Shermac products.

Your craftsmanship will ensure that every component and material is expertly assembled, resulting in superior products that consistently exceed our standards and customer expectations.


  • Full Time + O/T opportunities.
- $30 - $40 p/hr + penalty rates - pending experience.

  • Monday
  • Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing parts and materials for various fitout assemblies.
  • Work under the guidance of the Team Leader / Senior Team Member to assemble and install components as part of the fitout process.
  • Operate a forklift to move heavy materials and equipment safely within the workshop and surrounding yard areas.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance to ensure forklift functionality.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and hazardfree workshop.
  • Support safety protocols and promote a culture of safety.
  • Stock control using Kanban system.
  • Assist in quality control collaborate with Team Leaders to perform inspections and checks on finished products.
  • Due to the nature of the work, you may work shifts between 6am and 6pm.

What You'll Need:

Proven experience in a similar position within manufacturing.
Current forklift license.
Excellent attention to detail.
Working at Heights ticket.
Minimum 'C' Class Driver's License
