The Commonwealth Private Advisory team is responsible for the provision of wholesale investment services to the Bank's ultra-high and high net worth clients.

Our Frontline Team is responsible for growing and managing client relationships to the highest possible standard.


The breadth of our resources and depth of experience means that we can offer clients a comprehensive range of wholesale advisory services, market leading products and innovative investment opportunities.

Do work that matters

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery and implementation of personal advice to client portfolio.

We recognise that the advice requirements of our clients differ from the norm, and that higher incomes, higher debt levels, specialised professions and complex structures require a tailored approach.

Your remit will include providing client service and administrative support to a team of Private Wealth Managers.

You will get the chance to become familiar with the Advisory client base, as well as with the process of advising and portfolio construction.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Supporting the team to provide high quality client service preparing meeting reports, attending meetings and taking detailed file notes.
  • Ensuring that client Personal Profiles are accurate, up to date and recorded in XPLAN.
  • Annual review management ensuring client annual reviews are managed and up to date.
  • Data integrity assist with the establishment and maintenance of client documents in XPLAN, ensuring key information is up to date and all client interactions are recorded in XPLAN.
  • Trade implementation and record keeping.
  • Assisting with quality assurance remediation
  • Corporate action reporting.
We are looking for

  • Mandarin/Chineselanguage skills
  • Prior involvement in an advisory support or relationship management role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial planning, investment markets, managed funds and Australian listed securities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline.
  • RG 146 compliant or DFP or DFP (Advanced) or in the progress of completing.
  • Experience in using XPLAN
