About The Role

The position of Regulatory Affairs Associate is a temporary contract covering maternity leave for a minimum of 12 months. However, given the company's size, there may be potential future opportunities for long-term positions.

This role presents an excellent chance to kickstart a career in regulatory affairs, whether you are seeking to transition from a laboratory/Quality background or aiming to expand your knowledge by delving into a diverse array of standards.

As a chemical company, collaboration occurs with various regulatory bodies such as the APVMA, AICIS, TGA, Medsafe NZ, and MPI NZ.

The ideal candidate should possess a sharp attention to detail, an outgoing demeanor, exceptional communication abilities, and a drive for fostering connections within a team to propel the business forward.

Working alongside a larger Regulatory Team across ANZ, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with crucial regulatory standards, which includes:

  • Handling documentation such as submissions, filings, and approvals.
  • Engaging internally with R&D, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and external stakeholders as a primary point of contact offering guidance on regulatory/compliance issues.
  • Adapting to the ever-evolving regulatory landscape.

Skills & Experience

  • Flexible Mon-Fri schedule with the option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Essential tertiary qualifications in chemistry.
  • Some knowledge of regulatory processes - familiarity with APVMA, TGA, AICIS, Medsafe, EPA, etc. would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in chemistry and/or regulatory affairs.
  • Understanding of regulatory procedures with a willingness to stay updated on new guidelines, procedures, and requirements.
  • Familiarity with SAP would be beneficial.
  • Proficient in Excel, Office applications.
  • Strong communicator, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
